Cancellation Policy
Speech & Language Therapy Attendance and Conduct Policy 1. Commitment to On-Time Attendance To provide the highest quality of service to all clients, sessions must begin and end on schedule. Clients are expected to arrive **on time** for all appointments. This helps ensure full access to the therapy session and maintains fairness for all families. 2. Respect for Other Clients Our schedule is carefully designed to meet the needs of multiple clients throughout the day. To respect the time of others: * Sessions cannot extend beyond the scheduled end time. * Late arrivals may affect the flow of the day and the availability of services for other clients. 3. Late Arrivals We understand that delays sometimes happen. However, to maintain fairness: * If a client arrives late, **the session will be shortened** so it still ends at the originally scheduled time. * The full session fee will still apply for late arrivals. 4. Cancellations and No-Shows * Please provide at least **24 hours’ notice** for cancellations or rescheduling. * Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend without notice, may result in a cancellation fee according to the clinic’s billing policy. 5. Repeated Lateness or Missed Sessions Frequent lateness or missed appointments may impact the client’s treatment progress. The therapist may discuss attendance concerns with the family and, if necessary, revisit scheduling options or place the client back on a waiting list. 6. Communication If you anticipate being late or need to change an appointment, please contact your therapist as soon as possible. Open communication helps us support all clients effectively.
