A brief phone call to know more about your concerns may be conducted. A written speech and language assessment report will be provided within 7 days.
Cancellation Policy
Practice Policies and Terms of Service Assessment Services The assessment fee includes: Review of referral information and relevant background documents. Clinical assessment session(s). Scoring, analysis, and interpretation of assessment results. Preparation of a written assessment report. One feedback discussion (in person, by phone, or by video call) if requested within 14 days of report issue. The assessment fee does not include: Additional meetings beyond the scheduled feedback discussion. Attendance at school meetings or multidisciplinary meetings. Letters requested for third parties. Repeated report revisions. Additional reports prepared for legal, educational, or advocacy purposes. Assessment Reports and Revisions Assessment reports reflect the Speech and Language Therapist's professional clinical opinion based on the information available at the time of assessment. Parents/carers are encouraged to review reports and notify the clinician of any factual inaccuracies within 14 days. Examples of factual corrections include: Incorrect personal details. Incorrect developmental, medical, or educational history. Administrative or typographical errors. One review of factual corrections may be undertaken at no additional charge. Requests for further revisions, extensive amendments, or repeated review of report content may incur additional fees or may not be accepted. Differences of opinion regarding clinical findings, interpretations, recommendations, or professional judgement do not necessarily constitute report errors. Once revisions have been completed, the report will be considered final. Speech & Language Therapy Attendance and Conduct Policy 1. Cancellations and No-Shows * Please provide at least **24 hours’ notice** for cancellations or rescheduling. * Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend without notice, may result in a cancellation fee according to the clinic’s billing policy.
